Recovery Services Specialist
Haase and Long has a 70-year track record working in Lawrence, KS and beyond to resolve credit issues for people facing medical debt. We are looking for people to join our team. We are seeking a Recovery Services Specialist in our busy collections department to reach out and work with customers to compassionately create zero balances.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Recovery Services Specialist
Consistently review all open accounts, reviewing for accuracy of account status and any action that is needed to resolve account. Communicate and collaborate with other recovery services team members to ensure that accounts are resolved in a timely manner. Make outbound calls to provide account resolution opportunities and receive incoming calls to take payments.
Collections, sales and customer service skills, prior collections experience preferred, but not a requirement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic phone skills
Courteous, professional, appropriate on the phone
Adherence to procedures and applicable laws
Company and specific collection and industry laws
Adherence to confidentiality policies
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a group and as part of team
Ability to determine reason for delinquency and create solutions
